Biography
Francisco de Assis Aquino Gondim M.D., Ph.D. is Professor Adjunto IV of Neurology at Universidade Federal do Ceará. Trained at SLU, Washington University School of Medicine and Cornell University, he sees patients at Universidade Federal do Ceará and Hospital Leonardo da Vinci. He has extensive research experience in several neuropathy and neuromuscular diseases, including CMT, neuropathy in Parkinson's disease, Inflammatory Bowel Disease, Small Fiber Neuropathy and CIDP. He is a Fellow of the American Academy of Neurology and the American Academy of Neuromuscular and Electrodiagnostic Medicine, and an editor for Arquivos de Neuropsiquiatria and BMC Neurology.
