Biography
Pr. Feldman is the Russell N. DeJong Professor of Neurology at the University of Michigan where she directs the ALS Clinic, the JDRF Center for the Study of Complications in Diabetes, the Program for Neurology Research and Discovery and Director of the A. Alfred Taubman Medical Research Institute. She is a peripheral nerve expert who directs a research lab working on the role of growth factors in the pathogenesis and treatment of neurologic disorders. She developed clinical screening instrument for the rapid diagnosis of diabetic neuropathy, the MNSI and the UENS. She is a Past President of the Peripheral Nerve Society and the American Neurological Association. She brings particular expertise in diabetic neuropathy.
